Hello and welcome... I'm delighted to see you here and thank you if you've signed up to my updates - your interest and support mean a great deal. I'm excited to share more about my artistic journey below, what's been happening and what's coming up! It has been just over a year since I picked up my pens and paints again and what a positive year - thank you so much for your early support - it means everything!
If you are interested in any of my work then you can buy most pieces on my website (don't forget to use the voucher NEW2025 for a 15% discount) or just get in touch with any questions. I know it's a bit late for Christmas, but I will be doing a round trip to South Wales and the Reading area before Christmas so am happy to deliver there and to anywhere in Cornwall of course. I'd like to wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
St Ives Society of Artists - Christmas Exhibition
I felt thrilled and privileged to have two pieces of work accepted to the St Ives Society of Artists' Christmas Open Exhibition! The exhibition runs until 2nd January 2026, and features a diverse range of art from so many fabulous artists. I would definitely recommend visiting if you can! The two paintings exhibited are 'Balmy Days, St Agnes' Acrylic on Canvas and 'Looking out from Towan Beach' Oil on Linen panel. Both are available via the exhibition.
'Framed' Cornwall Open Exhibition, Cornwall Museum & Art Gallery
I was delighted to have one of my early paintings, 'Evening Walk in Charlestown', accepted as part of the digital display at the 'Framed' exhibition at the Cornwall Museum & Art Gallery in Truro. I was joined by friends for the private view and had a lovely time. The exhibition runs until 31st January 2026 and is just one reason for attending this beautiful space.
New Work
I've been genuinely astonished by the amount of support I've received from friends, family and other artists since I started on this journey. It's been so heart-warming and all sales I've made have helped me to continue learning and studying with the Newlyn School of Art, and to buy new materials. I upload work as often as I can, amid my other responsibilities but you can also follow me on social media as I often post new work up there.
I've just added the following painting, which is called 'Morning Reflections, Towan Beach'. This is inspired by a wonderful morning walk out on the Roseland as the cloud lifted to reveal the promise of a new summer's day. It has been a pleasure to paint and has multiple layers of acrylic paint, ink and marble dust to create the texture. It's 50 x 50cm and currently at the framers but will be available in the New Year. All details can be found here.

Good luck with the exhibition
