Someone told me that this reminded them of flamenco, and I do agree! The Summer of 2026 was fiery with shimmering heat. I applied and then removed layers of acrylic to create depth and to reveal the deep reds under the yellow ochre. I achieved this by applying layer after layer and sanding back and scratching out shapes and marks to achieve the feeling of desert-like heat.

Beautifully framed by Kernow Fine Art in a white wooden frame. The painting floats above the back board providing a shadow and depth which really suits the painting. The framed size is 41x41cm.
