Reluctant to Leave, Porthmeor is an acrylic painting on paper inspired by a really special day spent in St Ives with my son. Having spent the day wandering around galleries, having lunch and visiting all our all haunts, we ended the day at Porthmeor, but neither of us really wanted to leave as the light was wonderful and the beach was still full of people walking and enjoying the atmosphere of early evening.
