Morning Reflections, Towan Beach. This original acrylic and ink seascape painting was inspired by an early morning visit to Towan Beach on the Roseland Peninsular. It was a beautifully calm day - the sea was quite still and reflected the sky and surroundings in soft, tranquil tones. This quiet moment was also a reflective one for me and every time I've added to this painting it's filled me with the same feeling of calm.
 
On that morning, the cloud was clearing and there was the promise of a warm, peaceful day ahead! Through fluid lines and layered textures built up with marble dust, the painting captures the serenity of the scene and the softness of a new day.
