Blustery Day off Gylly Beach is an original pen and watercolour, with wax, on cotton watercolour paper (300gsm). I sketched this originally on my lunch break down on Gylly Beach, when the sea there was unusually rough. As always, the tankers, which are so characteristic of Falmouth, sit on the horizon. It was a bit of a wild day so the colours try to capture how quickly the weather was moving.
